Teaching Art since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic has presented challenges, as well as opportunities.

Re-imagining the syllabus for Art classes has been necessary in order to be able to teach virtually.      Considerations included:



-Accessing shared folders remotely 

-Creating SharePoint pages for classes

-ZOOM account creation and contact lists

-Adapting lessons and grading criteria to plan   for students having basic to no Art materials

-Adapting lessons and grading criteria to plan   include digital programmes 

-Finding free programmes. Guiding students through using these programmes.

-Finding ways to keep a rapport with students 
Individual feedback 


But most importantly, establishing a connection with virtual students through starting the classes of with conversation; and using humour to keep students focused.
